Apple Juice

ORIGIN:

"Apple juice" is rich in pectin,potassium,flavonoids and silver.Potassium is essential for functioning of neuro fluids and helps in the functioning of the brain.Silver is good for health.As the saying goes "An apple a day keeps the doctor away".

INGREDIENTS

Apple - 2

Sugar - 1 cup.

Water - 2 cups.

PROCEDURE

Step 1:Wash the apples with clean water.

Step 2:Peel off the skin of the apple with a peeler or a knife.

Step 3:Cut the apple into small pieces.

Step 4:Grind the apple pieces into a thick paste in a mixer-grinder or in a juicer.

Step 5:Add 1 cup of sugar and 2 cups of water to the grinded paste and mix well.

Step 6:Refrigerate for atleast 1/2 an hour.

Step 7:Serve cold.

NOTE:

*Take all the ingredients in the above mentioned quantity only.

*Add enough sugar and refrigerate.

*Use clean boiled cold water.

*Do not expose the chopped apple pieces to room temperature for longer as it would turn brown due to pectin content and silver oxide formation.
