Badam Keer

ORIGIN:
"Badam Keer" is a popular keer variety in India prepared on special occasions.This is definitely a healthy dish as it is rich in protein and fat.

INGREDIENTS

Badam - 100gms.

Sugar - 2 cups.

Milk - 1litre.

Water - 2 cups.

Saffron-a pinch.

PROCEDURE

Step 1:Soak the badam pieces in hot water for 2 hours.

Step 2:Then,peel off their skin.

Step 3:Grind the peeled off-soaked badam in a mixer grinder into a thick paste.

Step 4:Add 2 cups of water to the grinded paste and heat on a low flame for about 10 minutes.

Step 5:Remove from heat .

Step 6:Add milk to the boiled grinded badam paste and mix well.

Step 7:Now,add sugar to it and mix well.

Step 8:Refrigerate for 2 hours.

Step 9:Serve cold and garnish with pista,cashew pieces.

NOTE:

*Take all the ingredients in the above mentioned quantity only.
*While the badam paste is boiling with water,keep on mixing.
