Cucumber raitha

ORIGIN:

Cucumber raitha is a healthy dish as cucumber is rich in water content and reduces body heat .This is served as a side dish for chappathis,puris,rice,etc...

INGREDIENTS

Cucumber - 1

Salt - 1/4 tsp.

Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp.

Oil - 1/2 tsp.

Corriander leaves - 2 tsps.

Green chillis - 1

Curd - 1 cup.

PROCEDURE

Step 1:Peel the cucumbers' skin and grate the cucumber.

Step 2:Chop the green chillis into small thin pieces.

Step 3:Heat oil in a frying pan and add mustard seeds to it .

Step 4:Wait until it sputters and then fry the green chillis for a minute.

Step 5:Then mix the green chillies ,mustard ,chopped cucumber with salt and add them to thick fresh plain curds and mix well.

Step 6:Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Step 7:Serve with chappathis,puris,rice,etc...

NOTE:

*Take all the ingredients in the above mentioned quantity only.
*Donot forget to peel the cucumbers' skin.
*Do not fry or cook the cucumber.
