Onion Raitha

ORIGIN :
Onion raitha is a very popular raitha dish in India.Onion when fresh without overcooking is a perfect blood purifier and therefore , Onion raitha is definitely a healthy side dish .It can be used as a side dish for chappathis,puris,vegetable pulav.

INGREDIENTS

Onion - 2 pieces.

Salt - 1/4 tsp.

Green chillis-1

Curd - 1 cup.

Corriander leaves-2 tsps.

PROCEDURE

Step 1:Peel the onions' skin and chop them into fine small pieces.

Step 2:Now,chop the green chillis into small pieces.

Step 3:Take 1 cup of thick fresh curds and add the chopped onions and chopped green chillis to it and mix well.

Step 4:Now , add salt to the raitha and garnish with chopped coriandr leaves.

Step 5:Serve with chappathis,puris or vegetable pulav or fried rice.

NOTE:

*Take all the ingredients in the above mentioned quantity only.
*Use fresh plain thick curds only.
*Do not use sour curds.
