Preparation of Curds

ORIGIN:

"Curds" are rich in yeast and fat.It is really good for health especially in the summer season as it cools down the body and is helpful in curing skin allergies like prickly heat and pimples. In fact ,sour and old curds can be used as conditioner for hair wash as it softens dry hair.

INGREDIENTS

Milk (luke warm) - 1 litre

Curds - 2 tsps.

PROCEDURE

Step 1:Boil the 1 litre of milk and then allow to attain luke warm condition.

Step 2:Add 2 tsps. of old curds to the luke warm boiled milk.

Step 3:Do not refridgerate.

Step 4:Keep this mixture in room temperature, for alteast 6 hours.

Step 5:After 6 hours , curds would be ready .

NOTE:

*Take all the ingredients in the above mentioned quantity only.

*Do not use sour curds to prepare curds.

*Do not refrigerate the milk-curd mixture before 6 hours .

*After the curds are formed,refrigerate ,otherwise the curds will be sour.

*Use atleast luke warm milk for curd preparation ,or else yeast formation will be delayed and curds will not be formed properly.
